Springer lost to Alamo Navajo back in January of 2017, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Red Devils walked away with a 53-45 win over the Cougars. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.

Springer's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Alamo Navajo, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springer will take on Maxwell in a tournament on Wednesday. As for Alamo Navajo, they will welcome Magdalena at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Steers' defense has only allowed 17.5 points per game this season, so the Cougars' offense will have their work cut out for them.
