Softball Recap: Murfreesboro Extends Winning Streak to Three

Murfreesboro waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Mountain Pine Red Devils 15-3. The result was nothing new for the Rattlers, who have now won five games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Jordyn Nance looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Murfreesboro got a massive performance out of Jenna May, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 4-for-5. Those three runs gave May a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gianna Draper, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3.

Murfreesboro always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .643. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Murfreesboro's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Mountain Pine, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.
