Baseball Game Preview: East Sac County Raiders vs. Pocahontas Indians

East Sac County is 1-9 against Pocahontas since June of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Raiders will take on the Indians at 7:30 p.m.

On Friday, East Sac County didn't have quite enough to beat Alta-Aurelia and fell 4-3. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Pocahontas had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Titans. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

East Sac County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Pocahontas, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

East Sac County skirted past Pocahontas 7-6 in their previous matchup back in June of 2024. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
