Soccer Recap: Rubidoux Takes a Loss

The matchup between Rubidoux and Ramona on Monday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Rubidoux Falcons lost 7-1 to the Ramona Rams. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Franco Calvo, who's now up to five this season.

Rubidoux's loss dropped their record down to 2-14-1. As for Ramona, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Rubidoux take on the La Sierra at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ramona, they will challenge Patriot at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Patriot will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Ramona surely won't give up without a fight.
