Basketball Recap: Gentry Takes a Loss

Gentry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They fell 60-47 to the Greenville Hornets. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Greenville to victory, but perhaps none more so than A'Tavius McChristion, who went 5 of 8 en route to 15 points and five boards. That's the most points McChristion has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Peoples, who posted eight points along with 12 rebounds and three blocks.

Gentry's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Greenville, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-11.

As of now, neither Gentry nor Greenville have any future games scheduled.
