Langford extends home losing streak to eight

Recap: Langford Lions vs. Warner Monarchs

This season hasn't been kind to the Langford Lions, who are still winless after their 11th matchup. They were beaten by Warner 73-24 on Thursday. Langford has not had much luck with Warner recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Langford's loss came despite strong showings from Jake Samson and Rennan Bruns. Samson scored 12 points along with two steals, while Bruns scored ten points. Bruns continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Langford's loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-11. As for Warner, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Langford will play host again and welcome North Central, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Warner, they will be playing at home against Roncalli at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Dakota (Roncalli is ranked 89th, while Warner is ranked 64th).
