Recap: Raymond Seagulls vs. Forks Spartans
The Raymond Seagulls's three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They came out on top against Forks by a score of 56-47. For Raymond, this counts as revenge for the 56-42 defeat Forks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Raymond was led to victory by Austin Snodgrass and Christopher Quintana. Snodgrass scored 19 points along with two steals, while Quintana scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Snodgrass has scored all season. Talan Yearout was another key contributor, scoring three points along with 15 rebounds.
The victory got Raymond back to even at 8-8. As for Forks, they bumped their record down to 9-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raymond will square off against Elma at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Elma focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Thursday. As for Forks, they will head out on the road to square off against North Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
