Volleyball Game Preview: Corona del Mar Sea Kings vs. Carlsbad Lancers

The Corona del Mar Sea Kings will head out to face off against the Carlsbad Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Corona del Mar heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup last Friday. They lost 3-0 to Mira Costa. The Sea Kings' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Carlsbad came tearing into Saturday's game with 19 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lancers have posted since March 22nd.

Corona del Mar better keep an eye on Zach Reesor. He was instrumental in Carlsbad's win, getting 12 digs. Those 12 digs gave Reesor a new career-high.

Carlsbad's victory bumped their record up to 35-2. As for Corona del Mar, their loss dropped their record down to 24-6.
