Basketball Game Preview: Kearns Cougars vs. Cyprus Pirates

The Kearns Cougars will face off against the Cyprus Pirates at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

It was a proper cat-fight when Kearns faced off against West Jordan on Friday. Kearns had to suffer through a 64-27 loss at the hands of West Jordan. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-12.

Meanwhile, Cyprus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Taylorsville.

Kearns has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Cyprus, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-19.
