Recap: Commerce Tigers vs. Lumpkin County Indians
On Saturday, Commerce came up short against Lumpkin County and fell 46-36.
Despite the loss, Commerce still got an impressive performance from Malay L miitchell, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 10 rebounds. The game was L miitchell's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Raven Parks was another key contributor, scoring 2 points along with 10 rebounds.
Commerce's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Lumpkin County, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.
Commerce will be playing at home against Towns County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lumpkin County is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Gilmer at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Gilmer is ranked 215th, while Lumpkin County is ranked 221st).
