Basketball Recap: Scottsdale Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Scottsdale Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 72-6 loss at the hands of the Pima Roughriders. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Pima got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Adysen Hoopes out in front who went 7 of 8 en route to 14 points. Hanna Ashby was another key player, going 6 for 11 on her way to 13 points and three steals.

Scottsdale Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Pima, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Scottsdale Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 72-16 win against Madison Highland Prep on the 10th. As for Pima, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 54-20 victory against Morenci on the 9th.
