Softball Recap: Bronson Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bronson entered their tilt with Otsego on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-2 on Tuesday.

Bronson's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Otsego, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-10.

Bronson and Otsego are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Vikings will head out on the road to challenge Constantine at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Bronson's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season. As for Otsego, they will host Portage Northern at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
