Harrison County has gone a perfect 10-0 against Grant County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Thorobreds/Fillies will face off against the Braves at 5:30 p.m. Harrison County knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Grant County likes a good challenge.

15 must be Harrison County's lucky number: they beat Robertson County with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Thorobreds/Fillies didn't even let the Black Devils on the board, marking the Thorobreds/Fillies' second-straight 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Thorobreds/Fillies, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Grant County entered their contest against Lloyd Memorial on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Braves lost 10-4 to the Juggernauts. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Braves, who until this matchup were averaging 4.08 runs allowed.

Grant County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braiden Beach, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Harrison County pushed their record up to 17-2-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Grant County, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.

Wednesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Harrison County has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .480. However, it's not like Grant County struggles in that department as they've averaged .465. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Harrison County skirted past Grant County 5-4 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thorobreds/Fillies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
