Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Callaway). They strolled past the Louisiana Bulldogs with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 75-59. With that win, the Thunderbirds brought their scoring average up to 52 points per game.

North Callaway found their leader in sophomore Jamarion Glover, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for Glover. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Blevins, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 11 points along with seven assists and three steals.

North Callaway smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive games.

With the victory, North Callaway broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4. As for Louisiana, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

North Callaway will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hallsville at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
