King's Ridge Christian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the Heritage Hawks to the tune of 42-7. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.

King's Ridge Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Austin Drye, who rushed for 67 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six carries. Patrick Zito was another key player, rushing for 44 yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: King's Ridge Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 242 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 185 rushing yards in nine consecutive matches dating back to last season.
