Football Game Preview: Christ School Greenies vs. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles + Official Tickets

Christ School is 2-8 against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee since October of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Greenies are taking a road trip to face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Christ School has given up an average of 33.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Christ School's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Cannon [Cannon/Concord Academy] on Friday. They were beaten by the Cougars 35-0.

Meanwhile, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee entered their tilt with Varsity Opponent on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past Varsity Opponent, posting a 62-14 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four matchups by 35 points or more so far this season.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee's win came from a few key players Christ School will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Hector Nahle, who threw for 116 yards and two TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 35 yards. Those 116 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isaac Obrokta, who picked up 60 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Elias Willingham and Leo Toews.

Christ School's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Rabun Gap-Nacoochee, their record is now 6-4.

Christ School was dealt a bruising 42-0 loss at the hands of Rabun Gap-Nacoochee in their previous matchup back in October. Can the Greenies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
