Football Recap: Penns Manor Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Penns Manor's offense. They took a 6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Conemaugh Township Indians on Friday. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Despite the loss, Penns Manor still got an impressive performance from Justin Vojtek, who rushed for 110 yards. Vojtek was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards.

While Penns Manor came up short, they sure didn't make it easy for Conemaugh Township: they limited their QB to completion percentage of just 27.8%. The team can thank Brady Lewis for the heroic effort on defense: he. Penns Manor hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.29 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Conemaugh Township found their leader in sophomore Greyson Studer, who rushed for 119 yards and one touchdown. Those 119 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Studer.

Penns Manor's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-4. As for Conemaugh Township, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
