Football Recap: Los Fresnos Falcons vs. United Longhorns

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Los Fresnos couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 27-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the United Longhorns on Saturday. The matchup marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Robert Pineda, who threw for 142 yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 75 yards. 81 of Pineda's passing yards were hauled in by Ricardo Salazar, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
