After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Potts Camp, Strayhorn was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 19-1 margin over the Byhalia Indians. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Mustangs' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

With the win, Strayhorn broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-9. As for Byhalia, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Strayhorn will head out to challenge Potts Camp at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Potts Camp will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Strayhorn surely won't give up without a fight. As for Byhalia, they will welcome Holly Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
