Volleyball Recap: Cary-Grove Trojans vs. Prairie Ridge Wolves
Cary-Grove and Prairie Ridge squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Cary-Grove had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Prairie Ridge Wolves. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
While Cary-Grove had to take the loss, they sure made a game of it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-22.
Prairie Ridge can attribute much of their success to Allison Rodgers, who had four digs and four aces. Rodgers is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in the last five games she's played.
Cary-Grove's loss dropped their record down to 6-27. As for Prairie Ridge, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-13.
Cary-Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prairie Ridge, they will take on Carmel at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
