Volleyball Recap: North Olmsted Eagles vs. Kenston Bombers
North Olmsted was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Kenston Bombers.
While North Olmsted had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 11 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 21-25, 25-11.
Despite the loss, North Olmsted still got an impressive performance from Colleen Klein, who had eight digs.
North Olmsted's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Kenston, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Olmsted will host Lakewood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kenston, they will challenge Mayfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kenston will be looking to keep their 15-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.
