Softball Recap: Margaretta Polar Bears vs. Willard Crimson Flashes
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hopewell-Loudon, Margaretta was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Willard Crimson Flashes as they made off with a 17-7 victory. The Polar Bears' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Elie Grime spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits.
On the hitting side, Lucy Edwards was a standout: she scored three runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-5.
