After only 23 points in their last match, French Settlement made sure to put some points up on the board against Thibodaux on Thursday. The French Settlement Lions claimed a resounding 58-28 win over the Thibodaux Tigers. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 21 points or more this season.

French Settlement was led to victory by Stella Allison and Laney Wilson. Allison posted 11 points along with seven boards and three steals, while Wilson had 11 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Acosta, who went 5 of 11 on her way to 13 points.

French Settlement is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Thibodaux, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
