Walkertown's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the T.W. Andrews Red Raiders an 18-0 shutout. Considering the Wolfpack have won seven matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Caden Joyce made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Dakota Larimore was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and five RBI. Another player making a difference was Aaron Hester, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2.

Walkertown always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .704. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Walkertown pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for T.W. Andrews, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
