Soccer Recap: Batavia Takes a Loss

If Batavia was feeling good fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Waubonsie Valley last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Batavia fell just short of the Naperville North Huskies by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Batavia of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Batavia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Naperville North, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Batavia and Oswego East will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Naperville North, they will challenge Edwardsville at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
