Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Altamont). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Lotus School For Excellence Meteors 58-23. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Longhorns considering their 16-point performance the matchup before.

Altamont's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Lotus School For Excellence, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Altamont will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Pinnacle at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Both have allowed few points on average, (Altamont: 29.2, Pinnacle: 27.7) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Lotus School For Excellence, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Liberty Tree Academy on January 14, 2025.
