Volleyball Preview: Leola/Frederick Titans vs. North Central Thunder        
        
		
             The Leola/Frederick Titans will head out on the road to  take on  the North Central Thunder  at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Leola/Frederick is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a nine-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
 Last Thursday, Leola/Frederick came up short against Ellendale  and fell  3-1.
 Leola/Frederick started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-17, 25-19,  25-20.
 Meanwhile, North Central waltzed into their matchup  on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of  3-1.
 North Central was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 24-26, 25-15,  25-18.
 North Central  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 16  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least 11  aces in three consecutive  contests.
 Leola/Frederick's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for North Central, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won nine of their last ten games,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record  this season.
 Leola/Frederick took their  victory against North Central  in their previous meeting  back in October of 2023 by a conclusive  3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Leola/Frederick since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
