After a string of three wins, American Heritage's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a blow against the Grandview Prep Pride, falling 96-34. While losing is never fun, the Stallions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 364th, while the Pride are ranked fourth).

When it comes to explaining why American Heritage lost, don't look at Jayden Presser. Despite the final result, she posted 13 points. That was a full 38.2% of American Heritage's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Joslyn Klein, who put up 11 points.

American Heritage's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-13. As for Grandview Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

American Heritage has already played their next matchup (against Somerset Academy - Canyons), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Grandview Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
