Basketball Recap: Zephyrhills Christian Academy Continues Road Dominance on Sunday

The Zephyrhills Christian Academy Warriors didn't have too much trouble with the Huntington Expression Prep Kings on Sunday as they won 76-62.

Toni Bryant had a dynamite game, shooting 67% from the field to rack up 26 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Yale Davis, who went 5-for-12 en route to 13 points in addition to eight assists and six rebounds.

Zephyrhills Christian Academy pushed their record up to 2-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points over those games. As for Huntington Expression Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Zephyrhills Christian Academy will take on Poinciana Christian Preparatory on Thursday. As for Huntington Expression Prep, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Montgomery County at 8:00 p.m. on December 2.
