Soccer Recap: Olathe Northwest Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Olathe Northwest was not quite Shawnee Mission North's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Bison by a score of 3-2. Olathe Northwest were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Shawnee Mission North apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Olathe Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-2. As for Shawnee Mission North, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Olathe Northwest will square off against rival Shawnee Mission South on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Shawnee Mission North is set to take on their familiar foe Shawnee Mission East on Thursday.
