Baseball Recap: Kohler Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After only two runs in their last match, Kohler made sure to put some runs up on the board against Lomira on Tuesday. The Blue Bombers walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Lions. The win was some much needed relief for the Blue Bombers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Collin Thorne was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Ethan Klitzke was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Kohler's victory bumped their record up to 15-8-1. As for Lomira, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-12.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Kohler will take on St. Mary's Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lomira, they will be playing at home against Winnebago Lutheran Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
