Baseball Recap: Barren County Comes Up Short

If Barren County was feeling good fresh off their 22-2 takedown of Hart County last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Barren County Trojans came up short against the Taylor County Cardinals on Tuesday, falling 8-2. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost nine in a row.

Sutton Hyde was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hyde was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
