Football Recap: Littlerock Takes a Loss

Littlerock fell victim to Lancaster and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Eagles, falling 54-0. The Lobos haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Arthur Turner produced another solid effort rushing for 244 yards and two TDs on only 14 carries for Lancaster. Turner's longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards. Michael Marsenich was another key player, throwing for 223 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes.

Littlerock now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Lancaster, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Littlerock is set to challenge their familiar foe Palmdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lancaster will square off against rival Knight at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
