Softball Recap: San Fernando Takes a Loss

San Fernando fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Poly on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Parrots by a score of 8-7. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Parrots earlier this season, when they won 10-3.

San Fernando has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Poly, their record now sits at 8-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. San Fernando is set to face off against their familiar foe Kennedy at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Poly will challenge rival Chavez at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
