East Rankin Academy hadn't done well against Simpson Academy recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Patriots had just enough and edged out the Cougars 7-5. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-1 win on Thursday.
