 While Circle couldn't quite beat Andale in Monday's  second game, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the seven-point  loss they were dealt  in Monday's  first game. The Circle Thunderbirds fell just short of the Andale Indians by a score of  5-3. Circle has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Harlee Fowler put in work while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (she also only allowed one  walk). Fowler was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-3.
 Fowler wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Kendyl Acker, who  went 2-for-4 with  an  RBI.
 Circle's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Andale, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
 Circle didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  7-6  win vs. Buhler on the 11th. As for Andale, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Augusta on Monday.
