Soccer Recap: West Creek Takes a Loss

It was a classic East v. West duel when West Creek challenged Northeast on Thursday. The Coyote lost 4-1 to the Eagles. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for West Creek it sure didn't stay that way.

Their goal came courtesy of Antonio Cowan, who's now up to three this season.

This is the second loss in a row for West Creek and nudges their season record down to 4-4-1. As for Northeast, they moved to 7-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Creek will head out to take on Henry County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Henry County will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something West Creek surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northeast, they will head out on the road to face off against Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
