Recap: Eastern Ramblers vs. Idea Timberwolves
Even though the Idea Timberwolves scored an imposing 59 points on Monday, the Eastern Ramblers still came out on top. Eastern pulled ahead with a 60-59 photo finish over Idea. The win made it back-to-back wins for Eastern.
Rashid Faruq had a dynamite game for Eastern, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Isyah Joyner, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Idea's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Sidy Koite, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks. Koite is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Jaden Bradley was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Eastern's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Idea, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern will take on Friendship Collegiate Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Idea won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Digital Pioneers Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th.
