Baseball Recap: Omro Comes Up Short

Omro lost against Lomira last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Foxes lost 12-2 to the Lions. The Foxes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Omro saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Marine, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Omro now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lomira, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Omro will face off against St. Lawrence Seminary at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lomira, they will square off against Markesan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
