Basketball Game Preview: Steilacoom Sentinels vs. Fife Trojans

Steilacoom and Fife are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Steilacoom Sentinels will take on the Fife Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Steilacoom will be strutting in after a win while Fife will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, Steilacoom made off with a 38-37 victory over Franklin Pierce. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sentinels.

Fife has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 32-21 to Cascade Christian on Wednesday.

Fife's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Steilacoom, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Things could have been worse for Steilacoom, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 49-33 loss to Fife in their previous matchup back in January. Can Steilacoom avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
