Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Linden-McKinley). They walked away with a 64-51 win over the Millersport Lakers on Saturday. While the Panthers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

When it comes to explaining why Millersport lost, don't look at Lilly Atkinson. Despite the final result, she went 8 of 12 en route to 19 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Schilling, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

Linden-McKinley's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4. As for Millersport, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Linden-McKinley will head out to challenge Heath at 1:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Millersport, they will welcome Bishop Rosecrans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
