Baseball Recap: O'fallon Drops Season-High Score on East St. Louis

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask O'Fallon). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the East St. Louis Flyers a 15-0 shutout on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Jackson Greene looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, O'Fallon got a massive performance out of Dane Hrasky, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Becker, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

O'Fallon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .690. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

O'Fallon's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for East St. Louis, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

O'Fallon will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Flyers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
