Football Recap: Dos Pueblos Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Dos Pueblos unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 43-22 to the Santa Ynez Pirates on Friday. The Chargers have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Dos Pueblos didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Finn Mcweeney and Andrew Cook.

Santa Ynez got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jude Pritchard out in front who rushed for 33 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 140 yards on ten of 22 attempts. Another rusher making a difference was Greyson Foy, who rushed for 76 yards and one TD.

Dos Pueblos didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 19-0 victory against Royal on the 29th. As for Santa Ynez, they have also already played their next contest, a 21-20 loss against Lompoc on the 29th.
