Softball Recap: Williams Field Comes Up Short

Williams Field was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 15-4 to the Mountain View Toros. The Black Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Toros apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Williams Field saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gianna Kilmer, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2. What's more, Kilmer posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in March of 2024.

Williams Field's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-1. As for Mountain View, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Williams Field has already played their next match, a 10-9 victory against San Luis on the 6th. Mountain View will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Skyline at 3:45 p.m. on March 17th.
