Softball Recap: RHAM Extends Winning Streak to Three

RHAM waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Windsor Warriors by a score of 12-8. That's two games straight that the Raptors have won by exactly four runs.

RHAM secured the victory behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Mya Strumskas, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

Strumskas wasn't the only one making solid contact: RHAM kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in four consecutive matches.

RHAM's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Windsor, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-11 record.

Looking ahead, RHAM will head out on the road to face off against Bacon Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bobcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Raptors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Windsor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Glastonbury at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
