            Basketball Preview: Lewiston Tigers vs. Pawnee City Indians        
        
		
        
        
            Two dominant  guards in  Everett Bohling and  Anthony Kling are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Lewiston Tigers will face off against the Pawnee City Indians at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lewiston is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52  points per game  this season.
Last Thursday, Lewiston was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  as they fell  51-47 to Lourdes Central Catholic.
 The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was  Bohling, who  posted 14  points. Another player making a difference was  Grady Weyers, who  had 12 points.
 Meanwhile, Pawnee City hadn't done well against Sacred Heart recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. Everything went Pawnee City's way against Sacred Heart as Pawnee City made off with  a  56-36 win. The Indians pushed the score to  47-26 by the end of the third, a deficit the Irish cut but never quite recovered from.
 Pawnee City's  victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-4. As for Lewiston, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 6-6.
 Lewiston took a serious blow against Pawnee City  when the teams last played  back in January of 2024, falling  65-30. Can Lewiston avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
