Baseball Recap: Hoisington Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

Hoisington won the last time they faced Larned and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cardinals walked away with a 6-3 win over the Indians. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

The team relied heavily on Lane French, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Brody Corbett was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Hoisington's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Larned, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
