After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Creswell, Mapleton/Siuslaw was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the East Linn Christian Academy Eagles with a sharp 4-1 win. The result was nothing new for Mapleton/Siuslaw, who have now won three contests by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory got Mapleton/Siuslaw back to even at 3-3. As for East Linn Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Mapleton/Siuslaw will face off against Elmira at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Linn Christian Academy, they will head out to face off against Lewis Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
