Volleyball Recap: Pacifica Takes a Loss

Pacifica and University squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Pacifica had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Mariners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Pacifica had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 19-25, 25-22, 25-18.

Pacifica's loss dropped their record down to 18-17. As for University, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Pacifica does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for University, they will challenge Granada Hills Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
