Basketball Recap: Mcdonough Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Jeremiah Bullock and Micheal Kelly Jr. + How To Watch

McDonough played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Lackey Chargers, falling 60-36. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Chargers: they've now lost six in a row.

McDonough's loss came despite strong showings from Micheal Kelly Jr. and Jeremiah Bullock. Kelly Jr. almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards, while Bullock posted six points.

Malik Gordon was a one-man wrecking crew For Lackey. as he shot 67% from the field on his way to 19 points in addition to seven steals and five assists. Gordon is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last nine games he's played dating back to last season. Sevyn Evans was another key player, going 5-for-7 en route to 14 points and three steals.

McDonough's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, McDonough will challenge St. Charles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lackey, they will square off against Fairfax Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
